You have to take note that you should not cause any harm to your face, especially in sensitive areas. Always use the products as suggested for best results and the appropriate reaction of your skin.
In some cases, exfoliation can cause visibly flaking on the skin. This is usually something normal and not something that should alarm you. You can buy moisturizers that are not based on oil to be used after the exfoliation. You can consider using these moisturizers because the skin can be too dry or irritated. Try to find exfoliating and moisturizing products that can be used together, so you get the best results.
